Welcome to the businesses of Amy Scheg
Amy is passionate about crafting. She has crafted since childhood, having a crafty mother and two crafty grandmothers. Her father and grandfathers were also very creative. It's in her blood. Teaching crafts has been a hobby for years, now turned into a business: Sandhill Crafthouse.
Sandhill Crafthouse was created when Amy had requests for learning how she made some of her projects. She leads non-profit groups in craft instruction, and holds craft parties at her home studio.
Stensational Studio Design grew out of her original business, Stensational Walls. When she had to give up stenciling and painting walls because of bad knees, she found an outlet for her creativity in designing stencils, which also grew into Sensory Paths for schools. When Amy's daughter asked if she could make a Sensory Path for her school, Amy set out to learn all about Sensory Paths, then designed, fabricated, and installed one at her daughter's school. Once word got out, she was asked to do more.
